Birthday Party No. 2

On Sunday we celebrated Norah's birthday with the Jaeger family. On their drive back home from the wedding in MN everyone stopped in Bloomer for some lunch and cake. It was nice way for us to celebrate and also to let them break up their long drive. The kids had a lot of fun, especially with eating the cake.

We are proud to say that Norah can now sit and spin all by herself.

Norah also got a very fun gift from Grandma Joyce and Papa.

We got sand in it the next day and Norah had her friend Sophie over to play and have some leftover cake.

A Weekend Away

This past weekend we were up in the Twin Cities to celebrate another Jaeger getting married. Seth was the best man so we were up at the hotel early on Friday. Norah had a lot of fun staying in the hotel. Her favortite part was the pool. When you ask her what she liked best about the pool, she say, "Jump!" She loved jumping in.

After the wedding we were able to get some family pictures outside.

The reception was in a beautiful "barn." There was lots of room outside to run around. The land also had a learning center with animals. Which all the kids loved!

And of course the girls danced the night away.

Happy 2nd Birthday Norah!!!

May 10th was a fun day in our house. It was Norah's birthday! We had a fun celebrating all day by playing with friends and balloons. Once Seth was home from school she was able to open her presents.

First Norah got to see her new big girl twin bed. She was a little in shock when she first saw it because her room looked completely different. Not only was the bed different but the changing table and rocker were out of the room. Her book shelf was moved and her pink big girl chair was in her room. She had lots of fun playing on her bed later with Seth.

Norah then was able to open her other presents from friends and family.

Next Norah got another big surprise from Grandma and Grandpa Berg. A new wagon!!! She was a little shocked but when she saw it you heard, "Wagon!?!" She had lots of fun riding around with daddy around the house.

And of course, what good birthday doesn't end with cake.

Norah will get to have even more birthday fun this next weekend with the Jaegers.

Seth's Triathlon

This past weekend Seth, his brother Ben and a good friend Don Lunnemon competed in a Triathlon just north of Bloomer. It was a lot of fun to go and watch. They all did a wonderful job. It was a 3 mile run, 16 mile bike and 7 mile kayak. Don finished in 2 hr 12 min and Seth and Ben finished together in 2hr and 31 min. The only bad thing about the day was the weather. It was very cold. Norah was in her winter coat, snow pants, hat and mittens. We also got snowed on, rained on, hailed on, and the sun came out. Hopefully, next time it will be a little warmer.

We Love to Sing!

Norah has always enjoyed music and singing. The other night before bed I got her to sing for me.

The Master Hunter

Once again he returns victorious! Seth had his turkey hunting season this weekend and just like last year, had to wait till the last morning to get his turkey. This year was a once in a lifetime turkey though, it is a white turkey! Seth's hunting buddy had seen only one before today but it was a female. Seth was very excited and we were too. Norah got a kick out of turkey. She thought I was pretty neat. Not before long this turkey will be mounted on Seth's wall. (Well, his office or new man room wall. I don't think it will go with the decor.) Congratulations Seth!!!

We're Off to the Races

Norah has always enjoyed runnning around. But today she wanted to "go racin' " around the house. She needed us to get her started.
