Playing in the Snow

We haven't had a lot of snow this year, well, not yet. But we still have some. So while Seth was butchering his deer , the kids had fun playing in the snow.

 

 

I had to snap a picture of this. I thought it was just too funny. Kids swinging, dog watching and dad getting ready to skin a deer.

Happy Birthday Lucy!!!

Believe it or not, our little Lucy is 2! It's crazy how fast time has flown by. Our little girl is talking more than ever. One of her favorite phrases is, "I do it." She loves watching Silas and Norah and then repeats everything they do. She's such a happy little girl. We can't wait to see more of her personality and the love that she shows.

On her actual birthday, we stayed with Aunt Rachael, Uncle Dusty, and their cousins. Lucy got to sit in between Cole and Beau, upon their request.

That morning aunt Rachael took us to her school gym so the kids could run around and play. They loved it!

It was also a successful hunting trip. Seth shot a nice doe. We were a sight to see driving home in our white van with the deer on top. And yes, the van got a car wash the next day.

 

The next day at home, Lucy got to open her birthday gifts from us. It was fun to hear her say, "I did it!" every time she ripped the gift open.

Thanksgiving 2014

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We celebrated with Seth's family. The kids had a ball playing with their cousins. After our big dinner, we celebrated Lucy's 2nd birthday a day early with them (more pictures to come). It was a wonderful day.

Cooler Weather

Winter has hit Wisconsin. We have been having some cold weather and I'm kind of sad that it's going to be around for a while. But the kids love it! We finally have some snow that they can play in. And of course they get to enjoy some yummy hot chocolate when we come inside. I'm pretty sure it won't be too long before we have enough snow for snowmen and sledding.

 

Happy at Home

Not much is new here. Silas and Norah are doing very well in school. Right now they are starting to get ready for their Christmas concerts, which we are very excited to see. Lucy is so much fun. She is talking all the time and does whatever Norah and Silas do. She has really been into coloring with the big kids. It's nice there is something they have fun doing all together.
