Beautiful Fall Colors

This past weekend we had beautiful weather. We tried to have some extra time outside before it gets too cold. The kids and I got to see all the colorful fall leaves at Lakeside Park. They also got to jump  in a bunch of leaves that Seth raked up for them.

We had beautiful weather for trick or treating this year. The kids were so excited to dress up and collect some goodies. Lucy was really fun to watch. She was so surprised that at every house so got a treat. she definitely got the Halloween bug like Norah and Silas.

The scary black cat, Packer Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and Cinderella.

Night Hike

A favorite place of ours is Hobbs Woods. It's fun to take the whole family and get to do a little hiking. This time we went after supper, so we got to do some of our hiking in the dark. It was a fun family night.

Pumpkin Painting

At Silas and Norah's school they have a pumpkin display during the fall. Kids are able to decorate pumpkins and bring them to school to show off. They also get a little prize to participating.

Lucy was excited to paint too.

Norah and her bat. She was so proud of her work. Except for a little help with some pins. Norah did all the work on her own.

Silas and Spiderman. Mom helped by drawing the lines, but Silas did all the painting.

Lucy and the eyeball. I think you can tell what parts Lucy did ;)

CA Visitors

We were so happy to have some visitors earlier this month. Auntie Rachel and Uncle PJ came to visit us. The kids were in heaven with them here. We got to go get yummy Carmel apples, out to see and got to play lots of games. We wish they could have been here longer. One day PJ and I took the kids to Theresa, WI, where we lived when we were really little. We went to Widmer's Cheese Factory and we were able yonder our old church. We are so thankful we were able to spend time with both of them.
