Half Bath Remodel

We have many things on our wish list for our house. Over this past week, we were able to cross one of those things off. Seth and the kids had the week off for spring break. So we took the time to take out the yuck and but in the new.

Before. Old floor trim and floors.

Old light fixture and mirror.

Old vanity, sink and floor.

Seth started by ripping out the old fixtures and flooring.

Then he did all the hard work of refinishing the floor.

He put in the new light.

After more painting and floor trim and also two trips for our personal plumber Mark, Seth's dad, we were able to get it finished.

We are very happy on how it turned out. I am very thankful for all the hard work Seth and his dad put in to complete the project. And I have been smiling everthing I walk past this small room.

Newest Family Member

We have a new addition to our family, a new puppy! We are pleased to intruduce Ruby. She is a black lab and she is about 3 months old. We were all very excited to get a new dog after our beloved Cash passed away in November. She is doing very well. We are seeing lots of progress with her behavior, although we still have a ways to go.

The kids love playing with her.

And Ruby's kennel had also become a new playhouse.

Celebrate America

This year our school had a Celebrate America concert. The entire school and preschool sang songs about America or classic America songs. Silas had to wear red, white, and blue and Norah was a cowgirl.

Unfortunately my camera battery died so I didn't any videos. But all the kids did a great job.

Winter Getaway

This winter we took the kids on an overnight vacation. We stayed in a hotel with a little water park. We all had a ball swimming. It was nice to be able to sneak away and have some great family time.

Some exciting new! Norah lost her first tooth. She was so excited.

Christmas Part 4

It won't be a fun time at Grandma's without a tea party.

All the kids had a lot of fun playing on the pedway and having races.

Grandma and Grandpa with all the grandkids.

After Christmas when things slowed down, we enjoyed the rest of our trip hanging out with family.

We are so thankful we were able to visit over Christmas this past year.

Christmas Part 3

Christmas Eve and day we had lots of fun playing with family, opening presents and going to church. (They only bad part was that Seth and myself were sick on Christmas day.)

We love it when we are all together.
