Celebrating with the Jaegers

The day after Christmas we had a fun day at the Jaegers. It started out with taking Norah and Henry sledding. It was Henry's first time. I think he will have to have another sledding trip before he starts to enjoy it (especially when you get a ton of snow in your face and fall out of the sled and roll down the hill). Once the rest of the family got there we opened gifts and had a wonderful meal. We can't wait to see everyone again.

Henry didn't enjoy it at all.

Having fun in Norah's new tent. Rowan and Norah played in the tent for about an hour straight. They just loved it.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve we got to go to church with Seth's parents and Great Grandma Braasch. Then we went to her house for supper afterwards. Norah had fun playing with the Mrs. Potato Head and Grandma's walker. Then on Christmas we went to church and then headed off to Great Grandma Jaegers. It was very nice to visit with family.

Norah liked Mrs. Potato Head's jewelry.

She loved her Elmo so much that he ended up coming to church with us that morning.

Surprise Visit with the Phillips

This past Wednesday we had a fun surprise for Auntie Sarah. The Phillips were in Illinois for Christmas this year to visit with Jesse's family. So Jesse's mom made up a plan for us to come and visit without telling Sarah. When we got there Sarah was very surprised and excited to see us and Norah. We were just as excited to see them all too. Norah had lots of fun playing with all the toys and with Isaac and Julia. It was fun to see them play together and visit with the Phillips. Hopefully we will see them again soon.

Bloomer Christmas

Before our traveling we had our own little family Christmas at home. Norah had lots of fun opening her presents this year. She was even pretty good about waiting for the gift to be out of the box. It was so nice to have a quiet little Christmas at home.

She really wanted it out of the box. She was very patient with the other gifts after this one.

Cash was a little confused, but went and checked out all the new toys.

She loved her baby doll from Uncle Jesse and Auntie Sarah. She even held onto it while she opened the next couple presents. We caught her rocking a little later in the night and the next day I heard her telling the baby "Love You!"

Norah's ready to start a band.

Sledding

Last weekend we took Norah sledding for the first time. After getting bundled up in all her gear (which she can hardly walk in) Seth walked with her to the big hill with her new sled. Norah loved every part of the experience. She couldn't get enough. Every time she went down the hill her cheer and scream got louder and louder. We will definately be going a number of times this winter.

Trying to make a snow angel.

First attempt.

She was a little more successful after some help from dad.

Enjoying some yummy "hot" Cocoa after we got home.
