First Snowman and Prayers

Yesterday we got a lot of really wet snow. So what do you do, well build a snowman of course. (They couldn't find any long sticks, so two broken arrows had to work. And we didn't have any carrots so a soda can had to work. It's a little weird, I know, but we have seen worse here in Bloomer.)

Norah has been praying with us more and more. So here is a video of her praying before supper. You can hardly hear me, but if you say the common table prayer in your head you can follow along with Norah.

Also, I ask that you say a pray for our good friend Jenni Lauer (Poch) and her family. She lost her brother yesterday from a heart attack. He was only 28. We are so thankful because we know that he knew his Savior Christ and believed in him so we will see him in Heaven again.

New Coat

Not much is new here in Bloomer. We just relaxed over the long weekend. Norah did get a new winter coat. It is a little big yet but her old one was getting too short in the sleeves. It is very cute on her. Yesterday she also had fun folding laundry with Seth. She ended up putting on one of Seth's shirts (with daddy's help) and she loved it. It was like having a long dress on. It reminded us of how small she still is even though she's growing like crazy.

Weekend Visit

This past Saturday we had some good friends come over to visit, the Smiths and the Kruses. It was so nice to visit with them because we hadn't seen them in a long time. Norah had a blast playing with the Kruse's son Jonah. They played really well together. Norah loved having a friend to play with. We knew they would do well together shortly after they came because Norah said while giggling, "Baby Jonah silly." So cute! He would go right up to her and say "Hi" over and over. It's something we'll have to do again soon.

Norah's getting her band started.

No More Crib

Last night Norah got to sleep in a big girl bed for the first time. Grandma Joyce is letting us borrow a toddler bed from the cabin. We've had it at our house since late October so Norah has been around it for a while. She had fun watching Seth take down the crib and was very excited to get on her bed. She did really well in her bed too. She went right to sleep and didn't even climb out. Thankfully she didn't fall out either. We did have a visitor in our room at 6am but she did lay down for a little longer. So the first night was a success, we'll just have to see how the next couple nights and naps go. We are so proud of our big girl!

"Helping" Daddy take down the crib.

She loved sitting on her bed so much she didn't even want to get down and play with her toys.

New Years Eve

This year we went to a wedding on New Years. I friend of mine from high school, Lindsey Strohm, got married. We had a lot of fun at the wedding and so did Norah. She had a blast playing with my good friend Jenni's little girl Hayden. It was so cute to see them playing together. We'll have to set up a play date again soon.

Norah really enjoyed the cake!! Who needs silverware.
