Settled in at Home

Things are going very well at home. We are all used to our new bigger family. Silas is continuing to be a good sleeper and eater. He is also having more and more awake time which is fun. Norah is being a great big sister and Cash is protecting us all.

Norah's new fun thing to do that she learned from her cousin Rowan.

Silas' Big Day

This past Sunday Silas became a child of God and was baptized. We had a wonderful day and weekend with family and friends. We are so thankful that a lot of family was able to make it and we know Silas was in the prayers of those who couldn't.

Silly faces!

Silas' First Outing

We were off to the fair. On Thursday this past week we went to the Northern WI State Fair. Silas slept the entire time and Norah had a ball. She loved seeing all the different animals. The highlight of the trip for her was going on a pony ride. She had the biggest smile on her face the entire time and was a little cowgirl saying, "Yee Haw!" while riding. It will be fun to go back next year and have both kiddies see all the animals.

Silas enjoying the fair.

Norah was able to get up close to a huge pig. A young member at our church entered him into the fair through 4H. He invited Norah into the pen to pet his pig.

Silas still enjoying the fair.

Seth won a prize for Norah by popping some balloons with darts! Good job daddy!

Norah loved her free chicken hat. She has been wearing it around the house ever since. She is even wearing it as I type.

A Visit from Grandmas

On Monday July 5, Grandma Joyce and Grandma Great came all the way up to Bloomer to visit us. We had a wonderful time.

Norah had lots of fun playing with her Grandma Joyce. She even cried when they had to leave.

Our Silly Girl

Norah just hates sweets.

4th of July Fun

We had a very nice uneventful 4th this year, which was a nice rest. We stayed home relaxed and had some sparkler fun.

At first we didn't think Silas liked his swing very much. He was kind of crabby in it. But a minute later once he filled his pants we figured that was the why.

Norah liked the play mat even more than Silas.

Introducing.....

Silas Michael Jaeger!
He was born Friday July 2, 2010 at 9:37am. He hit the scales at 6 pounds 13 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long. We were so blessed to have a good labor and delivery and we were so excited that we finally got to meet our little man. Seth went and got Norah and brought her down to meet Silas. She was in awe at first, but really excited. Whenever he had to leave the room Norah would ask, "Where Silas go?" She had fun visiting at the hospital especially when she got to watch a Dora the Explorer video (best thing I packed in the hospital bag). Because everything went smoothly and we were both healthy we were able to go home the next day. We love having Silas home and having our entire family together. Some family is coming up to meet Silas next weekend and to help us celebrate his baptism Sunday July 11.

Seeing Silas for the first time.

Telling us to "shhh" because Silas was sleeping.

Kisses!

The beautiful flowers Seth and Norah got me.

One of the fun things they did in the hospital.

Getting ready to go home.

Cash loves Silas already. He has been wonderful with him and understands already that Silas is top dog over him.
