Norah Has a Hard Head

Poor Norah is sick. She has a pretty bad cold but she is starting to feel better though. It also didn't help that she got a new tooth on Saturday. She has had three teeth come in in the past two weeks. Now we are just waiting for her top front to grow in all the way so she will have a toothy grin. Her other tooth that came in is on the bottom right. This past weekend I went to the store to pick up a present from Grandma Beth and Grandpa Berg. A new Helmet for bike rides!

(Don't worry Grandpa, we haven't adjusted it yet. It will fit properly.)

Here is a new trick Norah learned on her own when she wants to eat a snack.

Seth mounted his turkey tail. The turkey was 24 pounds and the beard was 9 1/2 inches. Way to go Seth! It now hangs in his school office next to his buck antlers.

A Fun Weekend

Not too much new here. The weather has been wonderful so we've been able to spend a lot of time outside, going on walks and trips to the park to go on the swings. Norah even got to try out her new "pull behind" bike trailer, which she loved. She also was able to try pudding. Dad saw it at the store and had to get some for her. Seth will be very busy this week. The school has their musical this weekend. But he did have a relaxing time this weekend. It was his first time turkey hunting. He learned a lot and had a great time. But what made it the most fun was that he got a turkey Sunday morning. He is very excited and Norah and I are happy for him too.

A Normal Morning

This is a scene I see almost every morning after breakfast. The two little ones playing away with their toy balls or whatever toy is close by.

A Wonderful Easter

We had a wonderful time this past weekend. Seth's family all came up by us for Easter this year. It was so nice of everyone to come all that way to send it with us in Bloomer. On Saturday we all got together at their hotel in Chippewa Falls and took the kids swimming. (Norah wasn't too sure about the huge pool. She never cried but she held on to mom and dad pretty tight.) Then on Sunday we all went to church, Rowan had an egg hunt, we had a yummy meal, and had lots of time to visit. It was a great time and we hope to see everyone again very soon.

Norah liked her swimming suit.

But she wasn't sure about the water.

Maren loved the water. She looked like a little fished kicking and splashing.

11 Months Old

Norah is 11 months old today!! Lately Norah has been talking more and more. It almost sounds like she is copying the syllables and sounds of our words and phrases. She even makes a little "barking" noise when she hears Cash bark. She is crawling more and more but still prefers to be on her feet and walk around furniture or the house (with the help of anyone who will take her hands). Norah is pointing at everything and is getting more and more curious (which is getting her in trouble already).

California Trip

As you can see from the videos, Norah and I really surprised Grandma and Grandpa Berg. We also surprised Auntie Ashley and Auntie Katherine because they didn't know we were coming either. On Friday and Saturday we got to see Ashley in her school musical. She did AMAZING!! I didn't realize she had such a wonderful voice till I heard her sing her solo. Norah liked the musical too. She was mesmerized by the whole thing. The first time we saw it I hardly think she blinked. Not only did we have fun visiting with family, we also enjoyed the weather. We got to go on lots of walks and even made a couple trips to the park. We had a great time and we hope to visit them in CA again soon.

I think everyone has a sore back after Norah's visit.

Norah loved giving the baby doll hugs.

They both loved Grandma Beth's piano.
