Irvine Park

Today we took Norah to Irvine Park which is in Chippewa Falls. It is a huge park with lots of things to do. The part we went to see today is a small zoo. There aren't too many animals, but it was fun to see what they had. They even have a small petting zoo where we fed some sheep. And yes, I even fed a sheep! So here are some pictures from the day.

This is how Norah spent her time at the zoo.

Our favorite animals to see were the black bears. I have to say, they liked us too.

Smiles ;)

We are starting to have more and more fun with Norah. She is interacting and making a lot more little noises. Lately she has been smiling for us. You'll see in the pictures her big smile. They were all produced by Seth. He was making silly faces at her and she would smile each time. It is really fun to see. I'll have to learn to be quicker with the camera though, the first picture is really the only one that really shows how big she smiles at you.

All sorts of things will make Norah smile now. Some of the smallest things will get her excited. You'll see that in the video.

Fun Filled Weekend

This weekend our family had a very fun time. On Friday we went to the Appleton, WI area for the wedding of our friends Michael Smith and Tammy Anderson. Seth was an usher. Our 3 hour drive went smoothly except when Norah made a nice mess in her clothes and we had to strip her down to feed her. We stayed with Seth's brother Ben and his wife Susie. It was nice to spend time with them and see Susie's growing baby bump. We were also able to visit with a good friend from college Angie Sellnow. We met up with her at Copperrock Coffee Shop (that's where Ben and Susie work).

Saturday morning we were able to relax a little before we headed off to the wedding. It was a very nice ceremony. I must say though I was one of the most popular people there, well except for the bride and groom. Everyone LOVED Norah. I think almost every guest at the wedding came up to me so they could take a closer look. We all had a great time. Norah even got to play with her godfather Ben Schramm. For having her routine messed up, Norah did very well and hardly fussed all weekend. But it was nice to head home and relax the rest of Father's Day.

One Month Old!

Time has just flown by since Norah arrived. We can hardly believe she is already a month old. She is growing and learning more everyday. She really enjoys going on walks with mommy. She will be awake almost the entire walk just looking around and soaking everything in. She also like snuggling with daddy because he makes funny noises. We're excited to she what else she will enjoy. Have fun looking at the pictures and videos!

Our Happy Little Girl

This week we finally put batteries in one of Norah's toys. It lights up and plays music. You can see by the pictures how Norah truely feels about the toy.

Norah's New Best Friend & Seth's New Toy

Norah is pretty mild tempered. She is happy most of the time. Seth figured out that when she is getting a little cranky if we play some music, it cheers her up. But not just any music, the Chicken Dance Singing Duck! That's right, a duck that wiggles, quacks, and sings the chicken dance. We received the duck as a gift from a lovely lady that Grandma Berg works with. It is the perfect gift for a little baby. (Except it may get shot by daddy if it gets played too much!)

We like to treat ourselves every once in a while with fun things. Seth just treated himself last week with a new outdoor toy. Seth bought a kayak! He's taken it out on the lake in town a couple of times already and is excited to bring it up to the cabin and use it up there.
