We're Guessing "Ooohhhh" Means No

As you all know Silas isn't doing much forward motion yet. We try to tempt him but I think these videos really tell us how he feels about it.

Sorry for having it turned sideways.

As this point I think he's just getting frustrated with us.

We're Homeowners!!!

On Friday we closed on our house! We are very excited to finally have the house now. We signed all the papers Friday morning and by the afternoon the work began. I'll post some more pictures later of the "before" pictures. The kids and Cash loved the house and yard. We have a nice big yard in back where they will all get to run around. We are very blessed to have found a great house. Once we put a little work into it, it will be ready for us to move in this summer.

On the front steps.

One of Norah's favorite spots in the house. This is the balcony over looking the steps. She was pretending she was Rapunzel and telling Seth to say, "Norah, Norah, let down your hair!"

Silas in his room.

You got to love the fake baby blue wall panels.

Norah in her new room.

We're excited to get to work.

Traveling to Fond du Lac

This past Thursday we traveled to Fond du Lac and stayed in a hotel. We were closing on our house the next morning. We thought the hotel had a pool but all they had was a hot tub. Not ideal for two little kids. Norah was pretty bummed that she couldn't go swimming. So we decided that we could have a party in the tub instead. By the time we were done the entire bathroom had water everywhere. The kids had a blast though so it was well worth it.

10 Months Old

Little Silas is already 10 months old. I have a feeling one year is going to get here way too fast. He's still not crawling at all. He is just content. We try to tempt him with different things to get him to move or pull himself up on something, but so far no luck. He does have two teeth now. The second one just popped through last week. So the gummy smile is slowly disappearing. He is "talking" a lot more now. He also likes to throw in a scream or two here and there. Overall he is just a happy go lucky baby who still loves to snuggle.
