CA Trip Part 3: Fairy Land

The last couple of days in CA were lots of fun. Grandma and Grandpa took us to a big pool in Fremont. The kids loved it, especially when they got warmed up to the water. They also took us to Fairy Land in Oakland. It's a little amusement park for little kids. Norah is still talking about it. Although we were sad to go, we can't wait till be get to see all of the Bergs again.

They had a little church at Fairy Land. Just by this alone you could tell that the place had been built in the 50's or 60's because today they would never build a church. It even had Bible passages on the wall and religious themes in the windows.

Silas must be paying attention in church lately. He just went right up front and started singing.

CA Trip Part 2: Happy Birthdays!

On Silas' birthday after we got back from the zoo, we got to celebrate. Silas really enjoyed having another birthday cake and opening his presents.

We were excited that we were able to celebrate Julia's 3rd birthday with her on July 4th.

CA Vacation Part 1

This summer our whole family was able to go out to CA to visit the Bergs. We had a blast seeing and visiting with the entire family. The kids especailly had fun playing with their cousins. We can't wait to go back again.

On Silas' birthday we had a busy day. We went to the San Francisco Zoo. It was a great zoo.
