Lazy Days and Holidays

We've been doing a lot of relaxing lately around here. It's been nice for a change. We always seem so busy.

The kids love snuggling with Seth on the couch during the weekend.

While we're relaxing on the couch, it never fails that Silas will pick up a book and will want it read to him. He loves this book so much that he will read it with us.

We had a great Valentine's Day here. Norah had fun and was excited about the Valentines she brought home from school. And both Norah and Silas had fun enjoying special snacks from us too.

You got to love it when you get to pick up a dead president from preschool. Last week Norah learned about Presidents day in school. And when all the kids left the classroom they were wearing their new masks.

Sunday with the Johnsons

On this past Sunday we got to do a lot of celebrating. Cole and Beau Johnson had their Reaffirmation of Holy Baptism. They were both baptized in the hospital after they were born. It was fun to see them in their cute little outfits and to see how much they have grown in the last month. After church we went over to their house to help our niece Rowan celebrate her 6th birthday. They kids had fun at the Swamp People themed party. (Swamp People is a show on the History Channel.) There were crocodiles all over the place. We also got to try some real gator. One of Rowan's uncle ordered some right from Louisiana and prepared it for the party. It was pretty good. We can't wait for the next time we get to spend time with all our cousins.

Great Grandmas with Beau and Cole.

The girl cousins love it when we get together.

Castle Builders

It was a tiny construction site at our house recently. Norah received a wooden castle model from our neighbor. She was very excited to put it together. She called it her princess castle.

Of course, Silas liked helping too.

Norah liked organizing the nails.

Enjoying the final product.
