This past Memorial day weekend we headed down to southern Wisconsin for a wedding and to visit with family. Many things (good and bad) made it an "eventful" weekend. We drove down Thursday night because the wedding was on Friday. And of course, less than a mile from the Jaegers in Johnson Creek, Cash gets sick in the car. Yuck! We found out the hard way the some of the school kids didn't pick up all the broken water balloons. But we did make it safe and sound.
Friday was the wedding of our friends Andy and Julia Haasch. It was at the Botanical Gardens in Madison. It was a beautiful place and Norah was an excellent little girl during the ceremony.
Norah got to sit in the shade during the service.
She was ready for Grandma Joyce to pick her up at this point.
Saturday and Sunday we set aside time to visit with family and friends. But I guess I wanted to make things interesting. On Sunday I wasn't feeling the best, and by the early evening I knew I needed to see a doctor. Well, after getting to the ER at 7:45pm on Sunday, I was finally able to leave on Tuesday morning with the doctors stumped. A hospital stay wasn't really what I wanted to do on my weekend away, but you can't plan everything. Don't worry I'm doing fine. I went to the doctor again today and my doctor thinks it was gastroenteritis, with a side helping of some hives. I'm thankful to be all better and praying I don't ever have to go through that again.

Finally we started heading home on Tuesday afternoon with one stop in the Wisconsin Dells to stretch our legs. Norah wanted to walk a little too. We had to get home because Cash had an "event" planned with his doctor on Wednesday. Bob Barker would be proud! Although when he got home he was still feeling the pain he got a Certificate of Bravery from the vet. A lot happened this weekend that was fun, but I am sure glad that it's over.
This is all he did for the rest of the day, but I guess you can't blame him.
