Norah's Basketball

This winter Norah's had been able to play basketball through her school. It is a C-team which had 2nd through 4th grade girls. She has been learning a lot and has a ton of fun with her friends. With each game, you can tell she is feeling more comfortable and is understanding more. Her coaches and teammates are great. We are glad she gets to have these fun and new experiences through her school.

Gymnastics Time

The girls got a fun gift for Christmas this year. Norah got to continue gymnastics and Lucy was able to do gymnastics too. Norah really enjoys them and was super excited. Lucy was on cloud nine. Not only is it something fun to do, but it's something just like Norah. It is so fun to watch! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Berg!!! (Sorry the pictures aren't super clear, but it's the best I could get.)

Silas' Basketball

For Christmas this year, Silas got a gift to have basketball camp through the local YMCA. He was so excited and was counting down the days. Today was his first practice.

He practiced passing.

He had fun shooting, He did say that he likes using the big hoops more.

He also practiced dribbling. He surprised me on how well he did with it.

Now the countdown till next Saturday starts.

Christmas with the Jaegers

We were able to get together with all of Seth's family on New Year's Day. It's always fun to see all the cousins play together.

Girl Cousins.

After presents and lunch, most of the kids went sledding on a big hill by Grandma Joyce and Papa's house. They had a blast.

Winter Getaway

We were fortunate to get away this winter again. We traveled up tp the cabin a couple days after Christmas and stayed for a few days. We had a blast. It was nice to relax and spend time as a family. We spent a good part of each day playing outside.

The kids enjoyed sledding.

One new activity was ice skating. We picked up some skates for the kids. The ice on the lake was very smooth and only had a dusting of snow on it, so Seth used a push broom and created our own little rink right on Razorback.

This was the first time any of the kids skated. Norah and Silas took to it right away. As the time went on, they spent less and less time on their butts.

Lucy had fun skating too. Thankfully Seth was able to help her.

Seth even moved a bench right by the rink so I could watch the fun.

We loved our time away as a family.
