This past week we were able to sneak away to the cabin for a couple of days. It is always nice to get away and relax. We enjoyed our favorite things and got to try a few new things too.
Boat rides.
Fishing.
Lucy was excited to try fishing for the first time this year.
Playing in their fort they made in the spring.
We got to feed the ducks everyday. They got braver everyday. One even took bread right from Norah's hand.
A new toy that Grandma Joyce picked up this year was a paddle board. Once you got used to it, you felt pretty stable. All the kids, especially Norah, loved going for rides on the front.
We love playing at the beach.
Ice cream at the Corner Store is always a must. I think the cones are getting bigger each year.
You got to love the sugar high.
We had one brave doe that would come to the deer feeder everyday. She would watch us drive up, get out of the car, and let us watch her.
