Pumpkin Carving

We did some carving in our house last night after supper. Norah had a lot of fun. And it turned ouy pretty good too!

Silas had fun watching.

Getting our hands dirty.

A proud little girl.

Pumpkin Patch

On Monday this week Seth had a field trip with the school to Pleasant Valley Tree Farm in Elk Mound. This time of year their focus is their pumpkin harvest. So the kids and I tagged along for the fun. It was a beautiful fall day. Norah had a blast doing all the activities with the kids from school. She was also super excited because she got to bring a pumpkin home.

Walking down the "Spooky Trail." It was a little tricky to take the stroller with Silas on it but at least it was easier than the Corn Maze.

This was one of Norah's favorites from the day, the 40 foot slide!

Thankfully Seth was there to help catch at the bottom. A couple kids almost wiped out.

Silas was a great little boy the entire day. He got a good nap and enjoyed being outside.

This was Norah's other favorite, the bouncy houses. She would have stayed in forever if we would have let her.

Tried to get some pumpkin shots. Norah was saying "Cheese!" nice and big for every picture.

Then it was Silas' turn.

Meeting Baby Jackson

This week we welcomed a new cousin. Jackson Merrill Buerger was born on October 12 at 8:26pm. He was 8 lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. We are so excited for Amanda and Joe. They look like two very proud parents. We have a feeling though that Silas and Jackson are going to keep us on our toes. Congratulations!!

We love our Anny Manny!

Playing with "My Friends"

Norah loves to play with anyone who will play with her. It is fun seeing her play with Silas. She is such a good big sister.

Cash loves to be included.

One morning last week I watched two of our pastor's kids. Norah had a ball and I think Sophie and Zeke did too. They are showing off their candy necklaces that they made.

Silas Michael is 3 Months Old!

Our little man is 3 months old already. Boy did that go by fast (I have a feeling I'm going to be saying that a lot.) He is such a happy baby with smiles for everyone all the time. He is holding his head better and better, he almost has it down. No rolling over yet, but he is starting to be more wiggly every day. As you can see from the last post, he is also starting to give us little screams. Another fun thing Silas is doing is little giggles. They aren't big ones, but it is fun to hear little chuckles. We are so thankful Silas and his big sister Norah everyday.

Pretending and Screaming

Not much has been new here. Just the same old stuff. Norah is having fun pretending to be all sorts of different characters lately. Within a day she'll be numerous different people or animals like Dora, Kai lan, Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Elmo, or Tiger, just to name a few. She also picks characters for everyone else too. She'll ask us, "Who will you 'tend to be?" It's so much fun to see her little mind work.

Seth has been teaching his little girl.

Norah is ready to go visit Papa Charlie with her new backpack for the airplane. She asks about every other day if we are going yet.

Going out into the woods with daddy to check his trail camera. Norah asked if she got to wear hunting clothes too, so Seth got her this hat to wear.

Silas has been growing and growing. He is officially 3 months old now! (Pictures to come of that.) He is holding his head better and better. He is also talking a lot and adding in little screams too. There are times during the day where is talks and talks. We joke around that he is just trying to keep up with his sister.
