Happy Easter

On our trip we were able to celebrate Easter. It was a wonderful day. We had Easter Breakfast at church, and egg hunt and a lovely service. Unfortunately I forgot my camera at the house so I didn't get any pictures of the egg hunt. We had to say bye to the Phillips that afternoon but we were so happy that they came down to Fremont to see us while we were there.

Julia and Norah were almost inseparable. They had a blast playing together.

Everyone got to find their Easter basket before church.

Even Lucy enjoyed her basket.

All the bigger girls got an Easter gift from Aunt Rachel.

Let's just say I think they felt pretty cool in them. (The posing they did all on their own.)

Silas was so happy to have Uncle PJ and Grandpa to play cars with.

Aunt Sarah took some pictures of all the cousins after the egg hunt at church. In these two pictures, she definitely captured the kids personalities, especially the boys.

Spring Break

This year over spring break, the kids and I were able to go and visit the Bergs in CA. We felt bad leaving Seth behind but he kept busy with visiting the Jaegers and track practices. The kids were champs while flying and traveling through the airport and we were all excited to see Grandma and Grandpa waiting for us outside of security. The only bad part was Silas got pink eye from playing in a kid area at the Milwaukee airport. Thankfully no one else got it. Other than that we had a great trip and I have lots of pictures to share.

We had great weather while we were there. So we took advantage of it and went to a couple parks.

The kids loved playing in the warm sun.

Grandpa was in heaven with his little snugglers.

Norah and Silas loved playing with Uncle Jesse, or Uncle Puppy, a nickname Silas gave him.

Easter Program

This past Sunday at church, Norah sang in a little Easter program with the kindergarten class and both preschool classes. We always enjoy watching Norah sing away. She knew all her words and was singing out nice and loud. And the little kids didn't disappoint. There was a nose picker, a little girl in the front row lifting up her dress and little boys distracted and doing anything other then singing. But joking aside, it was so neat to watch all these little kids sing about their risen Savior. Here are two little videos of songs.

Still Playing in the Snow

As I am writing this post, we are getting more snow. We are all wishing for spring, but until then we'll still have fun playing with the white stuff.

Fun at Home

Since it still doesn't seem to be any closer to spring, we have been hanging around the house. We just want warmer weather so we can go outside and air out the house. Unfortunately, Norah and I both got some kind of flu bug. Thankfully we are all better now and we pray no one else gets it. Seth's track season had started. He is the head coach this year so he is a little busier then last year with it. The kids and I are looking forward to going to a couple meets. Otherwise not much is new around here.

Lucy loves her new toy. Silas and Norah love it too.

A First For Lucy

Today we had a fun first for Lucy. She was having a fun time watching Norah and Silas jump up and down to the music in her bouncer.

(I'll update more later, but this one couldn't wait.)

Lucy Talking

Here is an example of Lucy talking. If you're there to listen, she'll talk your ear off. She just might take after her big sister.
