Enjoying Family Time

We were so thankful that Uncle PJ took two days off of work while we were there. The kids love playing with him and on him.

Picking flowers outside.

Silas loved playing in the front yard and "in the street."

Another great day for a visit to a park.

Both Silas and Norah loved the merry-go-round. The only difference is Norah loved riding and Silas loved pushing.

Ashley (16) and Katherine (15) enjoyed playing at the park too.

One of the days we were there we went to the Junior Museum and Zoo in Palo Alto. It's a small children's museum where the focus is science and nature. The kids had fun. They liked looking at all the small animals the most.

Another must on our trip was a tea party. We got to use Grandma's fancy tea cups and have "tea" and little snacks. Grandma must trust her grandkids more than I do because she let them use 150+ year old tea cups.

Norah had fun pouring everyone their tea.

Rachel came back in town for one morning. She had meeting in San Francisco that day. Norah and Silas had lots of fun playing with her outside that morning. They also gave big hugs while saying good bye.

Thank you so much Grandma and Grandpa for the amazing trip. We can't wait to come and visit again.

Happy Easter

On our trip we were able to celebrate Easter. It was a wonderful day. We had Easter Breakfast at church, and egg hunt and a lovely service. Unfortunately I forgot my camera at the house so I didn't get any pictures of the egg hunt. We had to say bye to the Phillips that afternoon but we were so happy that they came down to Fremont to see us while we were there.

Julia and Norah were almost inseparable. They had a blast playing together.

Everyone got to find their Easter basket before church.

Even Lucy enjoyed her basket.

All the bigger girls got an Easter gift from Aunt Rachel.

Let's just say I think they felt pretty cool in them. (The posing they did all on their own.)

Silas was so happy to have Uncle PJ and Grandpa to play cars with.

Aunt Sarah took some pictures of all the cousins after the egg hunt at church. In these two pictures, she definitely captured the kids personalities, especially the boys.

Spring Break

This year over spring break, the kids and I were able to go and visit the Bergs in CA. We felt bad leaving Seth behind but he kept busy with visiting the Jaegers and track practices. The kids were champs while flying and traveling through the airport and we were all excited to see Grandma and Grandpa waiting for us outside of security. The only bad part was Silas got pink eye from playing in a kid area at the Milwaukee airport. Thankfully no one else got it. Other than that we had a great trip and I have lots of pictures to share.

We had great weather while we were there. So we took advantage of it and went to a couple parks.

The kids loved playing in the warm sun.

Grandpa was in heaven with his little snugglers.

Norah and Silas loved playing with Uncle Jesse, or Uncle Puppy, a nickname Silas gave him.
