We Love Children's Museums

Over Memorial day weekend, some good friends of our, the Schramms, from Watertown came to visit us. They were palnning on going to the Chilren's museum in Appleton and invited us to go along. The kids had so much fun. Their favorite spot this time was the art center. Norah loved all the painting projects they had. And Silas' favorite was the face painting. We always have a good time when we go and visit. Thanks Schramms for the fun day.

Silas just sat in the mirror and colored his face for the longest time.

Norah kept her face simple.

Seth called him Braveheart for the rest of the day.

Bloomer Spartan Triathlon

In May, we made a visit back to Bloomer. Seth participated in their triathlon. It was so nice to go back and visit with friends and cheer Seth on. Norah and Silas had a blast because the hub of the race was at a big park in town. Seth did very well even though it was windy and VERY warm. We are excited to go back again and visit our friends again.

Norah enjoyed Sunday as well because she got to wear a new birthday dress that she picked out. Thank you Great Grandpa and Granny! She loves her dress and headband.

Chicago Getaway

After Norah's birthday Auntie Rachel and Grandma took us on an adventure to Chicago! We had so much fun. We got to visit Navy Pier, the Shedd Aquarium, and see our Aunt Sue and many other cousins. Unfortunately I only have pictures from the first day because my camera battery died. Oh well. WE are excited to see Rachel and Grandma again soon when we got to visit them in CA.

Norah could have looked in the mirrors all day.

Enjoying a yummy treat.

Enjoying the ride on the big Ferris Wheel.

Happy Birthday Norah!

I know it's been forever since I updated, so I'm going to try to catch up. On May 10, Norah turned 4! She was so excited for her birthday that she had been telling people about it for months. She's such a great little girly girl and we love her very much.

Norah is in love with one of her new birthday gifts.

Norah and her flower cake.

Norah was very excited that her Grandma Beth was able to be there on her birthday.

Fun with School

This past week Norah has had a lot of fun with her school friends. On Tuesday May 1, she went with her class to the Fond du Lac Children's Museum. Silas and I got to tag along, which Silas loved. She had fun playing all over the museum.

Silas running through a tunnel, one of maybe a 100 times.

The Pizza Shop was one of Norah's favorite spots. She made pizzas for everyone.

We had a school friend stay with us for the weekend. The classroom toy Froggy. The students take turns bringing him home. This was Norah's 3rd and final time with Froggy. I think Silas had as much fun with him as Norah did.

Big Boy Bed

Sorry, I know it's been almost a month since my last post. I'll try to be better. In April, Silas had a big step in becoming a big boy. We got rid of his crib and he got a big bed! He was so excited and wanted to sleep in it right away. He has been really good about it too. There has been only one time where he got out of bed when he was supposed to go to sleep. We're so proud of our Silas.

Bye Crib!

He loves it! The bed actually has side rails because it is the top of a bunk bed. (We decided to put them on to keep him from falling off, but it is pretty easy to take them off in the future.)

Because we got a bunk bed Norah got to have the bottom and had fun getting a new bed too. Seth had some very good helpers.
