Papa Marks's 67th Birthday

This past weekend we traveled down to Johnsons Creek to celebrate Papa's birthday! We had a super fun afternoon with grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.

12 kids are a lot to get to look at a camera. Joyce and Mark and all their grandkids.

Pumpkin Decorating

Every year at school there is a pumpkin decorating contest. The kids all love coming up with new ideas and creating their perfect pumpkin.

Silas was especially pumped this year because his jellyfish made it into the Top 10!

Ride to School

Norah was so excited she won a drawing contest! During Fire Prevention Week she drew an escape route and won. As a prize, Norah, as well as other students from St. Paul's, got to tour the North Fond du Lac Fire station in the morning. Then, her favorite part, they got a ride to school in a fire truck!

Norah's Turn

Norah's class had a field trip to Camp Phillip in Wautoma, WI. I was to thankful I was able to go along. Grandma Joyce came up in the morning to watch Abel and Lucy for me! She's awesome. It's always special to have one on one time with the kids. We had a blast!

The Bergs Take on WI

We were so excited that we had some CA visitors again this fall. Grandma Beth, Auntie Rachel, and Auntie Ashley came to see us! We loved having them here. We took them to Little Farmer to pick some apples and get some yummy caramel apples.

We even had some visitors from Georgia that weekend! We were able to spend an afternoon and evening with Great Grandpa Dean and Granny! But silly me, I didn't get any pictures.

We also got to have a special visit with Grandma Berg. It was so sweet to she her reaction to Lucy and Abel.

We are so thankful for our family! We love the time we get to spend with them! Come again anytime!

8 Months Old

Our special Abel is 8 months old! He is still a super happy boy, but is getting more vocal, especially when he eats. He is sleeping through the night and lays down nicely at nap times during the day. He has 4 teeth and is growing like a weed. He is around 21 pounds. It looks like he will be crawling soon, but who knows. We love this boy!

Field Trip Time

I love it in the fall when the kids have field trips and I get to go along. It was Lucy's turn this time. We got to go to Little Farmer twice! Once with our Moms and Tots group and once with her preschool class. So much fun!

We also enjoyed a yummy muffin and apple cider.

Norah's Ears

After years of not wanting them, Norah decided a couple months ago that she wanted her ears pierced. So one Saturday afternoon we too her!

Getting ready.

Norah was a tough cookie. No tears at all! She definitely had a shocked/ pained look on her face though.

She loves them!

Kick It for Cancer

We love being involved with events at WLA. Every year the seniors in student council do a senior project. This year one senior decided to run a 3 day soccer game with the proceeds going to cancer research. Both Norah and Silas were able to participate. They had a wonderful time.

A Day with Silas

I always love it when I'm able to go on a field trip with one of the kids. I was able to go with Silas and his class to a children's museum and Book Worm Gardens in Sheboygen. It was a wonderful time. Here is a picture of Silas and the boys in his class before lunch at Book Worm Gardens.
