California 2016 Part 2

Now that the kids are a little older, we've been trying to do tourist type outing when we're in CA. This year we went to Muir Woods National Park. Aunt Sarah and our cousins met us there for the adventure. It was beautiful! The redwood trees that are there are just amazing.  

We planned on doing a hike while we were there, but I don't think we planned for as big of a hike as we actually did. It was a difficult hike for the kids, but they all did great.

We had fun along the way.

How many cousins does it take to fit around a redwood?

Halfway through the hike we stopped and had a picnic lunch.

On our way to and from Muir Woods, we got to drive over the Golden Gate Bridge. The kids really got a kick out of driving over such a big bridge.

On the way home, we stopped to get a nice view and a couple pictures.

California 2016 Part 1

We were so thankful the Grandma and Grandpa Berg flew us out to CA again this summer. We always love going and spending time with family.

Seth got some riding in over the trip.

The kids had fun playing with Grandma.

They had fun with grandpa too.

Abel got lots of good snuggles.

Grandpa took us all to and A's vs. Brewers game. We all had a blast and it was even better that the Brewers won.

Norah got to meet the A's mascot Stomper.

Grandma took the kids for a walk to stretch their legs. They had fun exploring the stadium.

Bay Beach Amusement Park

To celebrate our nephew Gideon's birthday, we went to Bay Beach Amusement park in Green Bay. Although it was warm, we had a lot of fun with family.

Abel was such a good boy all day and even got a couple naps in.

It was a perfect day for a cold treat.
