Walleye Weekend 2016

We had a fun time again this year at Walleye Weekend in Fond du Lac. The Family Land didn't disappoint. The kids got their faces painted, went on a giant slide, and won lots of free ice cream.

The football game was Silas' favorite. Between the McDonalds and A &W coupons, we won't have to pay for ice cream all summer.

While the big kids waited in line for a big kid ride, Lucy got to listen and meet Sleeping Beauty with mom, and see a wild animal show with dad.

Norah and Silas were super patient in line to go on the giant trampolines. They LOVED it.

They both said it was worth the hour and 15 minute wait. Mom and Dad would maybe disagree, but it sure was fun watching them.

We also enjoyed cheese curds while we watched a lumberjack show, which was pretty cool. We had lots of free summer fun.

Congratulations Grandma Joyce!

We were so excited to surprise Grandma Joyce at a party to celebrate her retirement. She was such a loving and caring nurse, but now we are excited to have her around more. Congrats Grandma!

Lucy was super excited to get a new bike helmet this summer. She is really getting a hang of riding.

National Dairy Month

The kids and I went to Fond du Lac's first outdoor farmer's market of the year. But we had a special treat, there was a petting zoo, games with prizes and other fun things to do to help celebrate National Dairy month. And mom's favorite part was that it was all free.

They got free custard, yogurt, and chocolate milk.

They got to play tons of games and won fun prizes.

They loved holding bunnies.

Norah and Silas went on pony rides.

I promise, he did enjoy his ride.

Lucy didn't want to ride a pony but she was super excited to ride in a tractor race.

They all enjoyed it.

Abel rode and napped in the stroller the entire time. His favorite thing was watching the red helium balloons that were attached to the stroller.

Abel is 4 Months

Our little Abel isn't super little anymore. He is four months now and just under 17 pounds. We are loving his little rolls.  He is such a happy baby. He loves it when people talk to him and shows it with big grins and coos and even little giggles. He is rolling from his belly to his back and is sleeping through the night almost every night. Abel is so fun and we cant wait to see more and more of his personality.
