Happy Birthday Lucy!

Lucy Leigh is 3! Today we celebrated Lucy's birthday. Every year seems to go by faster and faster. Our little Lucy is full of sweetness, spunk, giggles, and curiosity. She definitely keeps us on our toes, but we love every minute of it. She shows more and more independence all the time and is showing more of her personality and interests. We can't wait to see her learn in grow during the next year.

Lucy and her Cinderella cake (her request).

She wasn't afraid of the cake, she was being careful not to blow out the candles too early.

We love you Lucy!!!

Happy Thanksgving

We had another wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We were able to spend it with most of Seth's family at his parents house. It was great to see family we haven't seen in a while.

After lunch we celebrated Lucy's birthday a little early with family. Lucy was so excited to share the cupcakes she helped make with everyone.

That night we traveled to Blue Mounds to spend the night with the Johnsons. Saying the kids had a blast with their cousins, is an understatement. I love watching them all play together.

While we were there, Seth got to hunt with Dusty and was successful! We are excited to have more venison throughout the year.

Happy Halloween

The kids all love dressing up for Halloween. They start thinking about costumes months in advance. This year they got to dress up a few more times. The day before we were able to go to a Halloween party at our local Children's Museum. They had a lot of fun there. Their favorite was watching a show with a mad scientist. But the highlight was trick or treating! Even though we didn't have the best weather, the kids had a ball and were excited to come home with buckets full of candy.
