Animal Resucers

Yesterday while the little kids and are were outside playing we noticed a mama duck and her 12 ducklings in our neighbors fenced in yard. The mama must of had her nest inside the yard. We had fun watching them walk around and follow the mama wherever she went.

After a little while, we realized that she couldn't find her way out of the yard. So after talking to our neighbor, we opened their gate and waited.

While we were waiting we found a toad that Ruby was very interested in. So with the help of Silas, we got him in a bucket (Because I didn't want to pick him up) and put him down by the creek.

And finally, after having the gate open for about 15 minutes, the mama found her way out of the yard. Both Silas and Lucy had so much fun saving the ducks.

Spring Fun

Seth will take the kids fishing in the creek behind our house from time to time. This weekend they were all determined to spear a fish. With the "help" of Silas and Norah, Seth speared a carp.

Then we decided to have a little cleaner fun and took the kids bowling.

Silas has really improved and is excited to bowl more this summer.

Norah was very proud of herself for getting two strikes in one game and ended up with a score of 108.

Baseball Fans

This past Friday, the kids and I went to a Timber Rattlers game in Appleton. They are a minor league team. Norah earned a free ticket, hot dog and drink through school. Although it was pretty cold, we still had a great time. As we entered the game the kids all got a free team bobble head.

The kids had fun playing on a playground inside the park.

Next we checked out a giant sand box they have in the outfield. Silas was excited to find a baseball in the sand that was hit during warm ups.

It was lots of fun and we hope to make it to another game later this season.

But we can't forget who the kids really cheer for, the Milwaukee Brewers.

Spring Sports

This spring Norah and Silas are participating in our local YMCA cheerleading and tee ball. They both have had two practices and are loving it.

Norah is learning a lot and is so excited to learn more. She is really looking forward to the chance to cheer at some real flag football games.

A Whole New Look

Norah has had quite a change in her appearance in the last couple days. She's down 6 inches of hair and a front tooth.

Finding Baskets

Once we got back home, the kids were able to find their baskets from the Easter bunny.

Norah was super sleepy at this point, so she had her basket delivered.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter

Jesus is Risen! We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter this year. The only bad part is that Norah was feeling under the weather. We celebrated with all the Jaegers in Johnson Creek. It is always a blessing to share this special time with family.

Norah got to spend some extra time with Rowan and Maren. She was in heaven.

The kids had fun doing an egg hunt.

She was so proud of herself for finding an egg.

Shortly after this find, Norah retired for the day to lay down inside. She was still able to find a couple.

Silas found one of the last eggs.

We always love seeing cousins. Maren, 6 and Rowan, 9.
