End of the School Year

This past week was Silas and Norah's last week of school. It's hard to believe it's over already. They had a lot of fun the last few day with a big field tip and graduation.

Silas had fun going on rides too. (Also a big thank you to Aunt Susie for watching Lucy while we were there.)

After the closing chapel service, the school had a small Kindergarten graduation. Norah and her classmates sang a sweet song, got their diplomas, and even got to toss their hats into the air.

Norah and her teacher Mrs. North. Norah had a wonderful year with her. Now she is super excited for 1st grade.

Happy 6th Birthday Norah!

On Saturday our precious Norah had her 6th birthday. Crazy how time flies. We had a fun and busy weekend. Norah got to open her presents in the morning and then we headed down to Watertown to celebrate Grandma Great Braasch's birthday which is the day before Norah's.

The fun continued on Sunday when Norah was able to have the girls in her class over for a party. Norah was in heaven playing with her friends, doing a craft and having cake and ice cream.

Night at the Ball Game

On Thursday night, we were able to go to a WLA baseball game with our Moms and Tots group. It was a special night. They got a picture with the team and got to stand with them for the National Anthem. Then the exciting part, Silas was chosen to throw the first pitch! He was on cloud nine. He did a great job. After he was done the coach tossed him the ball. We can't wait till next year.

Norah's Races

This past week Norah has had some great opportunities to be with friends and run. On Wednesday, she was able to have one race at WLA during a upper grade track meet. she had a lot of fun even though it was cold and wet.

Then on Friday, the K-4 at Norah's school was invited to a track meet. Thankfully we had beautiful weather. They were able to participate in 6 different events. She was so excited that she even won a ribbon. 4th place in the softball throw!

Old Friends, Great Company

Today the kids and I were able to drive to Hartford to see our good friends the Lauers. It is so fun seeing our kids play and grow together after all these years. It is always great to have such great friends as these. We are truly blessed.
