Enjoying New Gifts

Once we got settled at home, Silas decided to use his new drill to help Seth put together their new table and chairs from Grandma Joyce and Papa.

They both love their table.

This year for Christmas Norah and Silas got a basketball hoop from Great Grandpa and Granny. They love it. Norah like to try to make "far" shots. Silas likes to try to shoot too. He'll just throws any ball at it to make a shot. He loves it and he doesn't even care he is no where close to making a basket. Thank you Granny and Great Grandpa!

Christmas with the Jaegers

On Christmas morning the kids were excited that Santa came and filled their stockings. Then we were off to church to celebrate our Savior's birth. After church we went over to Seth's Grandma Jaegers to visit with the big Jaeger family. The kids did great and they really enjoyed listening to Seth play Christmas music with many of his uncles and cousins. After that party, we stayed the night at Seth's parents to celebrate with Seth's family the next day.

Silas and Gideon always know how to have a good time.

Silas is a Papa's boy. He'll point to him and say "Papa."

Give us another year and these guys will give us a very crazy Christmas.

Christmas Eve 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve this year. We were able to celebrate at our home this year. This kids had fun opening a gift early and playing with them all day.

Listening to Daddy practice for Christmas Day at Great Grandma Jaegers.

Opening an early gift in the morning.

After church that afternoon, we went home and had supper. Then we got to open our presents.

Both Silas and Norah had fun opening their gifts. Norah was excited to see what was in the next box and Silas was so into the present he just opened you could barely pull him away to open another.

Two New Cousins!!!

On Friday the 16th, Seth's sister Rachael and her husband Dusty had their twins!! Everything went smoothly with the delivery. Cole Markus Johnson was born first weighing 6 lbs 8 oz and 18 in. And just a minute later Beau Kenton Johnson was born weighing 6 lbs 14 oz and 19 in. We were so excited to see them, and Dusty and Rachael. We went to go see them in the hospital on Sunday. We had a great time and we can't wait to see them next week.

We all got to hold both of them at once. Super fun. Beau is on the left and Cole is on the right.

Norah the proud cousinof Beau (left) and Cole (right).

Norah holing Beau and trying to watch TV at the same time.

Seth and Cole.

Silas didn't hold any babies but he still loves seeing them. He wanted to keep touching them.

Hunting Girl

Norah had a fun day today. She got to go hunting with Daddy. She was very excited to go and had a great time. Seth said almost every five seconds Norah asked in a whisper, "When are the deer coming?" She did well and I think Seth had just as much fun as Norah did.

The kids had fun in the tub tonight too! Who doesn't love a nice bath with bubble crowns?

Norah's Christmas Concert

Yesterday Norah had her preschool Christmas concert at church. She has been looking forward to it for awhile now. She did a great job. She sang all the songs. We were so proud. Seth's mom was able to come up for it too. Norah loved having her Grandma Joyce there adn getting to wear her new Christmas dress early.

I was able to take a little video of Norah's favorite song. Norah is in the middle of the front row.

Getting Ready for Christmas

We always have fun getting our house ready for Christmas. The kids had fun helping me make Christmas cookies. They liked decorating the most.

You can tell by Silas' face that he liked helping.

We also had a good time finding the perfect Christmas tree.

The kids entertained themselves by picking up pine needles off the floor and putting them into the garbage can.

The next day we all had fun decorating the tree.

Most of the ornaments have actually stayed on the tree. Silas likes the same ornaments and likes to take them off and show me. He really likes one with a picture of himself on it.

Thanksgiving

This year we got to go to Seth's parents for Thanksgiving. Norah and Silas had fun playing with their cousin Jack. Norah's favorite part was when she got to decorate Christmas cookies with her grandma Joyce and Grandma Great. Silas missed out because he was taking a nap. Jack also got to help. It was a good time, but I think more sprinkles made it into Norah's mouth then on top of the cookies.
