Counting

When talking with my mother last night, she was telling me how much Isaac loved to point to things when she counted. So I started wondering what Norah would do. This is what happened while counting coins this morning.

(I think she likes the number 2.)

Puddle Jumper

It rained today in the morning so there were lots of puddles around by lunch time. Norah and I went outside to visit with Seth during his lunch recess and boy, did Norah love it. Thanks Grandma Beth and Grandpa Berg for the great boots!

She did happen to fall down in one of the puddles though :)

Two Parties in One Day

This past Saturday we went down to southern WI for Henry's first birthday and for a Jaeger wedding. It was a lot of fun. Henry is as cute as ever and really enjoyed his birthday cake. Norah had fun at both parties. She was really good at the wedding even though she fell off the pew with Grandma Joyce. (Sorry bride and groom, that cry will be on your wedding video.)

Rowan loved the cake.

Norah loved all the toys at Grandma Joyce and Papa's house. She enjoyed playing with the harmonica. She actually figured it out. Well, half of the noise is the harmonica and the other is Norah filling it in.

First Deer of the Season

This past Thursday night Seth was very excited. He got his first deer this year. The buck is a six pointer. Cash was very interested in the deer too. Norah looked at it and said, "Pow, Pow" as she does when she sees one on TV. (Daddy taught her that one.)

Bye in the Morning

Norah is usually a happy girl in the morning. But I love to see her say bye to Seth on his way to school.

Love the Computer

Norah loves to sit on our laps while we're on the computer. She always hopes she'll get to watch a video of Elmo or of Isaac. She will go to the computer and say "Isaac" or we'll ask her if she wants to see him and she'll run to the computer. It's fun to see that she loves her cousins even though she doesn't get to see them very often.

Day at the Park

It was nice to have Seth home an extra day this weekend. So we took advantage and went to Irvine park in Chippewa Falls. Norah had fun looking at the animals and playing on the playground. It is one of our favorite parks during the summer time.

Mommy's Little Helper

Whenever I get out the broom or the swiffer Norah always wants to help. Of course I don't mind. Hopefully she'll always stay this excited about cleaning.

Thank You

Seth would like to thank his parents and parents-in-law for the birthday gifts. He got new hunting boots and a very nice hunting jacket. They will both get a lot of use. Thanks!

Lunch After a Long Morning

We had an eventful morning. Norah got a bee sting! That mean bee got her on the top of her left hand. She was very brave. Her hand did swell up a little because she wouldn't let me put anything cold on it. But once I put on a little Elmo we were fine. We also did a lot of walking around outside and playing, so by the time we got to lunch she was already looking ready for a nap.
