Getting Smarter Everyday

Things have been busy around here. (With a baby and a puppy I think that is an understatement.) Grandma and Grandpa Jaeger came up to Bloomer this past weekend. It was so nice of them to drive all that way to spend the day with us. Seth is doing well at school. It has been really cold here so the kids can't go outside for recess so they get extremely stir crazy. This makes a teacher's job even harder so Seth gets some needed rest when he gets home. Norah is doing well. She is getting stronger and stronger. She had fallen in love with standing. And is getting really close to pulling herself up all by herself.
Cash is the one in this house that is getting smarter. He is getting braver and is challenging us more everyday. But he has found the best place to sit at meal times. He justs sits and waits.

I'm Number 1

As Grandpa Berg would say, "When you're cool, the sun always shines."

Good Old Screams

Norah has always been a chatter box. I think she likes to hear her own voice. Here is a little example of that. (Don't mind a little of Seth in the background.)

8 Months Old

Yesterday Norah was 8 months old. She isn't crawling yet but she's got the backwards pushing thing down. We can tell she is getting stronger everyday. She still babbles all the time and is screaming away. She is eating a lot more solid foods now as well. I don't think baby food is going to last too much longer because she loves feeding herself. She is so much fun and we are appreciating her lack of mobility while it lasts.

You can really see her teeth in this one.

Ah, the face before she fills her pants.

Seth's favorite pajamas.

Now I have to worry about two little ones who like to chew on things.

Johnson Creek Christmas

Once we flew back to Wisconsin, we stayed with Grandma Joyce and Grandpa Jaeger. Seth's cousin Lisa got married on New Year's Eve and the next day we had Christmas with the Jaegers. It was a great time. It was fun to see all of the Jaeger cousins together. It was really neat to see Rowan with Norah. Rowan just loved her. She pretty much cared less about her little sister and her cousin Henry. She would give her hugs and kisses, bring her toys, and even sit next to her and put her arm around her and hold her hand. And of course Norah got spoiled again by her grandparents, aunts and uncles. We can't wait to see everyone again soon.

Maren just about to fall asleep.

All the cousins together.

California Christmas

This year we went out to have Christmas with the Bergs out in CA. Once we got there (7 hours later than planned because of weather in the Midwest) we had a lot of fun visiting with everyone, not to mention the weather wasn't bad either. The whole family loved seeing and playing with Norah. It was so nice to see them on Christmas this year. We are definitely looking forward to our next visit.

Getting an early gift from her Godmother, Aunt Rachel.

Cute ice skate booties from Grandma and Grandpa.

Grandpa says he can now die a happy man because of these pictures.
