Thanksgiving and Deer

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Johnson Creek with Seth's family. It was so nice to visit with family. Norah got to play with cousin Henry. It was fun to see her reaction to him. She seemed interested for a little while and then she kind of had a "whatever" look on her face. It makes us look forward to Christmas time when we get to see the Bergs and all of the Jaegers.

(Don't worry, she only scratched his head once and pulled his hair twice as we were trying to get the picture.)

Norah had fun playing in the box from Grandma Jaeger's new TV.

Seth is also very excited. On Saturday he got his first buck, an 8 pointer! Norah and I are very proud.

Yeah Teeth!!

This past weekend was opening weekend for gun deer hunting. So Seth went up to the cabin with his family. He said they had a great time even though they didn't see any deer. He thinks it's because they saw a lot of coyote or wolf tracks. Thankfully they didn't see any of those either. But Norah and I are glad that he's safe and sound here at home.

Norah and I didn't do much. We did a bunch of relaxing. We have some new news, Norah now has two teeth! Last Sunday we noticed that one bottom front tooth was starting to poke through and yesterday I saw that another bottom front tooth did too. Once I get a good toothy grin for a picture I'll post it.

Oh, and Happy Birthday Auntie Rachel Berg!!

Visitors on Saturday

We had a very nice weekend. On Saturday Grandma and Grandpa Jaeger came up to Bloomer for a visit. It was great to see them and of course they loved seeing Norah. They even brought Tucker along. As you'll see in the picture he got to stay in his kennel for the day on the porch. Our house was even happy they came. Grandpa gave our plumbing a little TLC. We were sad to see them go, but we will be seeing them soon over Thanksgiving.
On Sunday we had to make an important phone call to Arkansas. It was Papa Charlie's 97th birthday (Norah's Great Great Grandpa!!). We were happy to hear that he was having a nice day and we were glad we could make it a little brighter with a phone call.

Growing Big & Strong

Norah had her doctors visit this morning. She did very well, even when she got her 4 shots. Norah is growing and learning a lot. She now is 26 1/4 inches long and is 15 pounds 3 ounces. Now, if only she would be a better napper.

A Party & Six Months Old

This past Sunday the school threw a tailgate party for the Packer-Viking game. Since Norah and myself are not a fan of either team we decided to dress up for a team we do cheer for, Michigan. Only one person reminded us that it was Sunday, not Saturday. Seth didn't join in on the Michigan fun, but he did have fun supporting the Packers.

Norah had fun playing with a future classmate, Joel. It was fun watching them trying to grab each others hands.

And yes, Norah is 6 months old today. We are taking some new pictures tomorrow and are going to the doctor on Thursday. So we'll be able to give you her stats later in the week.

Norah and I had to find something to do while Seth was hunting and while it was snowing outside :( This is what we did.

Finding Joy while Down in the Dumps

Although our family is a little sad today because our neighbors, the Backus family, moved to Muskego, WI :( , Norah mangaged to work through her sorrow by playing with Seth. I must warn you, it may be a little high pitched.

Halloween Fun

The past couple days we have been traveling for Seth's teacher's conference. But it was worth the traveling because we got to visit with family. Before we left we carved some pumpkins for Halloween.

Since Seth's conference was in Milwaukee, we stayed in Johnson Creek with Grandma and Grandpa Jaeger. It was nice to visit with them. We also got to see Great Grandma Braasch and Aunt Amanda. We took Norah to see Grandma Jaeger at her work dressed up in her Halloween costume. She was a Michigan Cheerleader. GO BLUE!! Joyce works at a nursing home in Jefferson. She had fun showing Norah off to her co-workers and some of the residents. It made Grandma's day and I think some of the residents' day too.
