Silas always has a close eye on whatever Norah is doing. He had fun watching her play after lunch yesterday. He even tried to do what she was doing. I have a feeling this will happen even more once Silas can really move around.

We Love Field Trips!
On Friday Seth's school had a day full of field trips. The 1st- 8th grades went on a big all day trip and the Kindergarten and preschool went to the Eau Claire Children's Museum. We were invited to go along with the little kids so we jumped at the chance. It is a very nice museum with lots to do. It wasn't too busy either, which was nice. It would be a lot of fun to go again with Seth.

Bigger Boy, Bigger Seat
Silas has been getting taller and taller way faster than Norah ever did. So much so that he has out grown his infant car seat already. He is just shy of the height limit. So to be safe we have put him into a "new " carseat (Norah's old one) that he can still seat rearfacing until he is one. Norah didn't make it into this one until she was one. So far he really enjoys it because he can see out of the window a little and he can see Norah really well while driving in the car.

Silas had his first hair cut yesterday! It was getting kind of shaggy. He seems too young to have a haircut but with his locks, he needed it.

Silas is 8 Months Old
Our little man is growing and growing. Silas is not super mobile yet, which is ok with me. He loves to roll around the room to get to things that he wants. He is getting better and better at sitting up. He just doesn't seem to have a big desire for it yet. He would rather be laying down and rolling. He is a great eater, he especially likes feeding himself bananas and little puffs. Silas is also becoming more vocal which is fun. Norah loves to listen to his babble and "hear" him say different words. We are so blessed to have this little guy.
Norah of course wanted her picture taken too. (She's really not sporting a side pony tail it just looks like it, she's actually wearing piggy tails. But it does look like she's right out of th 1980s.)
